In 1996 Susanne Bisovsky established her own label of the same name. Since 2000 the Vienna-based company consists of Susanne Bisovsky and Joseph Bonwit Gerger, producing couture and ready-to-wear. In parallel SUSANNE BISOVSKY is designing for international clients.

The austrian native fashiondesigner has studied with Vivienne Westwood and designed for Castelbajac, Helmut Lang, Kathleen Madden, Sportalm and many more. In 2010 she created the Austrian Pavilion outfits at the EXPO Shanghai. Among others she cooperated with companies like Swarovski, Lobmeyr, Backhausen, Wiener Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten, Herend, Koo, Salzburger Festspiele, Teatro alla Scala.

Susanne Bisovsky´s world of clothing unfolds its implosive impact between chic and shame, blasphemy and innocence. Her programme is “viennese chic”, the tenor is “dowry”, the substance “everlasting”. Vienna is her city. The couture collections pieces are worked over and over a period of sometimes years and placed in new contexts. With this special approach she has positioned herself beyond the fashion mainstream. Although she does not really participate in society events or social media her viennese salon has become a meetingpoint of international clientele.
